Strengthening Global Opportunities for Kerala Spice Farmers
Kerala is globally recognized for premium spices such as black pepper, cardamom, turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon. However, many farmers lack access to modern processing techniques and export markets.
This project aims to improve the entire spice value chain, from cultivation to market access.

Key Interventions
• Training farmers in improved cultivation and post-harvest practices
• Establishing small-scale spice processing and grading facilities
• Promoting organic and sustainable spice cultivation
• Connecting farmers with domestic and international buyers
• Supporting branding and packaging for export-quality products
